Kirlin's Hallmark Refund and Exchange Policies

At Kirlin's, we value each and every customer and try to be fair in all refund and exchange decisions. Our polices are as follows:

  • We require customer information and a signature on every refund.
  • If your purchase was made with a credit card, we must process your refund on a credit card.
  • If your purchase was made with a check, there may be a delay in your refund as we wait for the check to clear.

Hallmark Branded Products

  • With a valid Kirlin's receipt, we will gladly issue a full refund for returned Hallmark product, with the exception of Keepsake Ornaments (see separate policy).
  • Without a Kirlin's receipt, we will gladly exchange the merchandise for other merchandise in the store. We do not issue credit slips or gift cards for exchanges. If the merchandise is seasonal, the last selling price of the product will be the amount of the exchange.

Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Refund Policy

  • Within 30 days, with a valid Kirlin receipt, we will refund Keepsake Ornaments at the current retail price.
  • After 30 days, with a valid Kirlin's receipt, we will exchange Keepsake Ornaments at the current retail price.
  • Without a receipt, we will exchange Keepsake Ornaments at the current retail price.
  • Ornaments purchased at sale price cannot be refunded or exchanged.

Gift Products (non-Hallmark)

  • Within 30 days, with a valid Kirlin's receipt, we will gladly issue a full refund for non-Hallmark items sold in our stores provided it is in saleable condition. The exception to this is postage, which cannot be refunded or exchanged.
  • After 30 days, with a valid Kirlin's receipt, we will gladly exchange the merchandise for other merchandise in the store, provided it is in saleable condition and currently sold in our stores. We do not issue credit slips or gift cards for exchanges.
  • Without a Kirlin receipt, if the merchandise is currently sold in our stores and is in saleable condition, we will exchange the product at its current retail price in the store.

Vera Bradley

  • Within 30 days and with a valid Kirlin's receipt, we will issue a full refund.
  • Without a valid Kirlin's receipt, we will offer an even exchange at the current retail price.

Food/Candy

  • We cannot exchange or refund any food or candy products. The only exception to this is if you open it and it has somehow spoiled.

Webkinz

  • We do not exchange or refund any Webkinz products.

Sale Policy

  • Non-seasonal merchandise purchased at full price and put on sale within 10 days may be refunded at full price with a valid Kirlin's sales receipt. The product and receipt must be presented for the refund to occur.

Punch Card Policy

  • Returns or exchanges for product that earned punches on a Kirlin's punch card (ornaments, Precious Moments, D56, Candles, and Webkinz, et.) will require the return of the original punch card. A new card less the returned amount will be issued.

Effective August 1, 2010:

For refunds over $50, a Driver's License or State ID number will be required. In the case of large refunds, the store may need to issue a check from the Kirlin's Corporate office to be sent by US Mail to a customer, as large amounts of cash are not kept at stores for the safety of our employees.

Crown Rewards Policy

  • Crown Rewards points will be deducted at the time of all returns and exchanges.
